Álvaro García Lineras fue elegido a la vise-presidencia de Bolivia con Evo Morales en 2005 como un miembro del Partido Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS). Nacido en Cochabamba, Bolivia y educado en la Universidad Autónomo de México en matemática, regreso a Bolivia donde se frustro tratando de implementar su ideales sociales. Como consecuencia, su pasión genuina por los derechos indígenas lo llevo a entrar en la guerrilla insurgente del Ejercito Tubac Katari de Felipe Quispe, su eventual captura y cinco años en la cárcel. Sr. García Lineras se considera un neo-marxista racional o socialista colectivo. |
